I had the opportunity to sit under the weekly instruction of Armand Seranno for a term at the Brainstorm Inland School and it was a fantastic experience. Over the course we were prompted to generate our own story ideas for a game/film and come up with some key art and locations for our stories. I had yet to delve into SE Asian architecture and wanted to give it a shot. Basing much of my research in Angkor Wat, I thought of a ruined and forgotten temple that a young adventurer must brave in order to retrieve a rare flower with life giving properties to save his father. There was some modeling doing using SketchUp and Gravity Sketch, while drawings and paintings were done using Procreate and Photoshop. For a full breakdown please visit my Artstation page!
I also like to practice plein-air in my spare time. Just click the button to see some of my watercolors!
